CJSW is the University of Calgary radio station and has been broadcasting on the FM dial for over 20 years. It is one of the strongest (if not the strongest) university radio stations in North America, graced each year with over C$150k in donations from the community. Content spans a great variety of music (alternative/independent music to jazz, reggae, industrial, metal, downtempo and electronic), news and current events, local event information and much cultural programming from Calgary Greek, French, Italian, German, Mexican, Jamaican, and African communities. CJSW has a small dedicated staff and a larger volunteer staff. They can be found at 90.9 FM, 106.9 Cable or can be heard in high quality over the internet.
