The Calgary Zoo is located near downtown Calgary. They have Botanical Gardens and the Prehistoric Park.
Every winter, the Zoo has a Christmas light show called Zoolights.

Zoo hours: 9:00AM-5:00PM, buildings close at 6:00PM
$15/Adult, $13/Senior, $9/Youth (13-17), $7.50/Child (3-12), Infants under 3 are free. See admission page for group discounts and rentals. See membership page for annual passes.
