Elks Club of Calgary
Calgary Community wiki
The Elks Club of Calgary is based at a golf course located in the Nose Creek Valley. It is reached from Edmonton Trail and is directly across the CPR tracks from Fox Hollow.
The course hosted the 2007 ATB Financial Classic, a CPGA tour stop. It also hosts many charity tournaments and has hosted several Alberta Golf Association tournaments.
The course plays in the valley except for the first tee. You start off a round here with a drive into the valley on the 455 yard first hole. The course is very well kept and features very soft sand bunkers. There are four tee boxes per hole on this par 72 course, which plays as long as 6850 yards.
This s a semi-private club with a very active membership base.
