[edit] Bowling
The bowling centre has gone through different changes through the years, but consists of two components. There is an east section. It originally consisted of 30 lanes of tenpin, but has since been moved further east and now has 26 lanes of tenpin bowling with Brunswick automatic scoring. The east section also has two five-pin lanes. They are located to the left of the tenpin lanes, are numbered 51 and 52, and do not have automatic scoring. The west section had 10 lanes of tenpin and eight lanes of fivepin. This section was renovated into an eight lane arena setting with four lanes of fivepin and four lanes of tenpin. This arena is home to the TSN Pins Game and now the Canadian Bowling Championship TV series. The arena lanes now serve as a private party area.
Silver Dollar previously hosted the PBA Tour's Number 7 Invitational, an event pitting Canadian tenpin bowlers against the best of the PBA.
