John Gilchrist is a restaurant critic in Calgary. On Friday mornings, he is a columnist on CBC Radio One's the Calgary Eyeopener. He writes a weekly column in the Calgary Herald and is also a contributing editor to Avenue Magazine and EnRoute Magazine. He has written books such as Cheap Eats: Calgary and My Favourite Resturants in Calgary & Banff. Gilchrist is also an instructor at the University of Calgary.
