McKenzie Meadows is a public golf course located near the community of McKenzie Towne. It resides in Fisk Creek Provincial Park.
The course features a rolling terrain and plays up to 6600 yards from the tips. Water comes into play on 13 of the 18 holes. The back nine of this course starts off the most difficult stretch of holes on this course. On the first three holes of the back nine, anything to the right is in complete trouble. The tenth hole is a par four that demands accuracy with a large bunker on the left. The eleventh is a par five with a blind approach to a tight elevated green. Number twelve is the longest par four on the course.
McKenzie Meadows is known for its friendly atmosphere and uses a more formal announcement on their public address system when announcing the current group due to tee off.
This is a very popular golf course. Its annual season pass program is sold out every season. The club currently runs a waiting list for this. McKenzie Meadows has hosted several major corporate and charity events and features a tournament gathering place known as "The Cart Barn".
