The Old Fashioned Country Fair took place on July 2-3, 2005 at the Calgary Farmers' Market. The festival includes a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, magicians and live entertainment along with the vendors and food of the market.

The market was exceptionally busy these days. The line-ups at vendors were much longer than usual and some places ran out of products.
