Silver Springs is a member owned, equity share Club which prides itself in its championship par 72 golf course.Designed originally by renowned golf course architect, Dick Phelps, Silver Springs’ tree-lined fairways give thegolf course a feel that is difficult to duplicate in the city. The golf course winds itself through the coulees andplateaus of northwest Calgary and presents the player with a wide diversity of terrain and elevation changes. Withfour sets of tees ranging in yardage from 5500 yards to 7000 yards, golfers of all skill levels will find the course achallenge. A comprehensive practice area, including a driving range, putting and chipping greens, and practicebunker are located adjacent to the first tee and Clubhouse. Silver Springs boasts a very active club membership with over500 active members, 200 active spouses, and some 150 juniors. Silver Springs prides itself on its Ladies Day,Mens’ Night, Junior programs and Club tournaments. The 30,000 square foot Clubhouse has facilities to take care of all your dining and meeting room requirements.There is something for everyone on the menu in the bright and open lounge overlooking the eighteenth green, orenjoy a full-course meal in the dining area with spectacular views of Canada Olympic Park and the Rockies. Snackbar service is available on the lower level next to the patio area. With several meeting rooms and a large banquetarea, Silver Springs can cater to functions from two to two hundred people.
